Police arrested a truck driver after his vehicle reportedly struck and killed an elderly woman in Mong Kok today.
The accident happened on Mong Kok Road near Reclamation Street about 9am.
The 78-year-old woman sustained serious injuries to the lower part of her body and was sent to Kwong Wah Hospital where she later died.
The 34-year-old male driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death and was detained for enquiries.
