Customs officers have seized 20 million illicit cigarettes at Tsing Yi Cargo Examination Compound.

Officers found the cigarettes in two 40-foot containers declared to contain plastic boxes, arriving from Vietnam on September 21.

The market value of the cigarettes is $54 million with a duty potential of $38 million.
