The Small Claims Tribunal, presently in Wanchai Tower, will move to the West Kowloon Law Courts Building in Sham Shui Po on September 19.
Due to inadequate courtrooms and office space, the Judiciary proposed in 2009 the construction of the new building to meet the increasing demand for court services and to enhance operational efficiency.
The new site has 12 courtrooms, 12 consultation rooms, 16 interview rooms, eight registration rooms and a registry.
A new information centre will also be set up to provide enquiry services.
Tsuen Wan Magistracy, the Coroner's Court and the Obscene Articles Tribunal will also relocate to the West Kowloon Law Courts Building.
