Customs officers arrested a 34-year-old male driver at Shenzhen Bay Control Point yesterday and seized 30 gold slabs hidden in his vehicle.
The gold, weighing 30kg and worth $11 million, was concealed near the front tyre of the car.
The driver was arrested and released on bail.
