The Ngau Tau Kok fire was largely put out by 11.15pm tonight.
Firemen are now fighting the blaze by using four jets, two ground monitors, and mobilising 35 fire engines, two ambulances, 190 fire and ambulance services officers.
Twelve fire officers have been sent to hospital for treatment, including two who later died. The rest have been discharged.
