An employer has been jailed two months by Sha Tin Magistracy for employing an illegal worker.

Immigration Department officers raided a restaurant in Mong Kok on April 7 and found an Indonesian woman holding a recognisance form, which prohibits its holder from taking up employment, working there as a cleaner.

The employer pleaded guilty and was sentenced yesterday.
