A total of 332 winners of the Junior Police Call Awards Scheme 2015 were commended today for their outstanding contributions in disseminating anti-drug messages, organising community services, promoting the JPC Scheme and crime prevention.
Trophies were presented by Acting Commissioner of Police Wong Chi-hung, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Operations) Lau Yip-shing, and other guests.
Mak Tsz-yau from Sau Mau Ping District was selected as the Best Junior Police Call Member, and Lo Ka-po from Kwai Tsing was Best Junior Police Call Leader.
The Kwun Tong Government Secondary School and Sau Ming Primary School won the Best Junior Police Call School Club (Secondary School) and the Best Junior Police Call School Club (Primary School) awards.
The Best Junior Police Call District Council award went to Kwai Tsing Junior Police Call District Council.
Apart form the JPC Scheme Awards, this year the "Fight Crime by You & Technology Awards" was added to arouse the awareness of youths in using innovative technology in crime prevention.
