Secretary for Security TK Lai will lead the Hong Kong Disciplined Services Cultural Exchange Delegation to visit Beijing on October 8.
The delegation consists of 120 representatives from the Correctional Services Department, the Customs & Excise Department, the Fire Services Department, the Immigration Department and Police.
They will gain a better understanding of the Mainland's latest developments and learn more about their counterparts' culture to strengthen co-operation.
The delegation will go to Qingdao and Shanghai before returning to Hong Kong on October 14.
Mr Lai will leave for Beijing tomorrow to call on Mainland officials.
He will meet with officials from the State Council's Hong Kong & Macau Affairs Office, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the General Administration of Customs, and the China Atomic Energy Authority.
