The Immigration Department announced today that South Sudan nationals will need a visa to enter Hong Kong from July 30, including those in transit at the airport.

This is applicable to all the country’s visitors irrespective of their purpose of stay.

Currently South Sudan nationals are not required to secure a visa for remaining on the airside in transit.
