A 46-year-old motorcyclist died in a traffic accident in Tsing Yi yesterday.
At about 5.30pm, the man was driving uphill while a truck driven by a 58-year-old man was travelling downhill along an unnamed road near Ting Kau Bridge along Tsing Yi North Coastal Road.
About 500 metres from the road junction, the motorcyclist reportedly lost control and fell to the road. He was then hit by the truck.
He was sent to Princess Margaret Hospital where he later died.
