Gov't aims to settle rail co-location soon

May 20, 2015

The Government's aim is to have co-location boundary control arrangements ready by the time the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link opens, Secretary for Justice Rimsky Yuen said today.

Speaking before leaving for Shenzhen this morning, he added that the arrangement is important for the rail line's efficiency and the economic benefits it will generate.

Mr Yuen is visiting Shenzhen with Secretary for Transport & Housing Prof Anthony Cheung to discuss the co-location arrangements with Hong Kong & Macau Affairs Office officials.
