Secretary for Justice Rimsky Yuen said the the Government will continue to strive its best to garner lawmakers' support for the political reform package.

Speaking to media today, Mr Yuen said whether it is optimistic or pessimistic, the Government is still working towards the goal of getting the proposal passed by a two-thirds majority of the Legislative Council.

On the University of Hong Kong Student Union's decision to leave the Federation of Students, Mr Yuen said it would not affect the Government's consultation work. It will listen to the views of different people, including students.
