Crime-busters:  Sha Tin district launches the fight crime carnival as a part of its winter precaution publicity campaign.

Sha Tin District launched a fight crime publicity programme today, which included a youth sharing session and a carnival featuring outstanding Police officer and good citizen awards.

Former Police Commissioner Dick Lee was an officiating guest at the event. He led a group of youths on a visit to Ma On Shan Police Station this morning, to help deepen their understanding of Police work and build mutual confidence.

Mr Lee also shared his experience of working in the force with the youths and encouraged them to strive and achieve their goals.

The carnival was co-organised by the Sha Tin District Fight Crime Committee and the Sha Tin District Office, with the help of the Police.

Other guests included Sha Tin District Officer Cora Ho, Sha Tin District Council Chairman Ho Hau-cheung, Vice-Chairman Pang Cheung-wai, and Sha Tin Police District Commander Evelyn Lam.
