Police have arrested 12 people after protesters gathered on Mong Kok roads last night, causing chaos and blocking streets.
The 10 men and two women, aged 13 to 43, were arrested for assaulting and obstructing Police, disorderly conduct, criminal damage and failing to produce proof of identity.
Two officers were injured in the operation.
Police urged the public to comply with the law and maintain order when expressing their views, warning them not to participate in "mobile occupation" tactics.
