The Chief Executive has appointed Christopher Cheung and Tony Tse as vice-chairmen of the Independent Police Complaints Council. Six new members have also been appointed.
The appointments are for two years from January 1.
The new members are Prof Alfred Chan, Cheng Kam-chung, Richard Ho, Herman Hui, Edgar Kwan and Peter Yan.
The council's membership will be expanded from 24 to 28 members from next year, to provide more efficient handling of complaints.
The Government thanked retiring members for their work.
