The Immigration Department and Police arrested 22 mainlanders, aged 15 to 76, in an anti-illegal employment crackdown in Sheung Shui yesterday.
The six men and 16 women were arrested for breaching their conditions of stay by being involved in parallel goods trading on San Wan Road, Po Wan Road and Ka Fu Close.
Officers seized milk powder, wine, food, skincare products, clothes, daily necessities and electronic products.
A total of 1,445 Mainlanders and 14 Hong Kong residents have been arrested for parallel goods trading since September 2012.
