Police call for restraint

October 17, 2014

Police today appealed to protesters on Lung Wo Road to exercise restraint and not commit acts endangering people's safety, and warned enforcement action will be taken against illegal behaviour.

Officers noticed that some protesters had set up barriers on plant beds along Lung Wo Road near Tim Mei Avenue, which posed a danger to people. Police urged them to stop such acts.

The force reiterated that people should express their views in a rational and peaceful manner, and stressed it will not tolerate any acts endangering public order and safety.
