Police have arrested a 70-year old driver after his truck reportedly struck and killed an 89-year-old woman in Sheung Shui today.
The accident happened at about 8.30am near the entrance of Wah Sum Estate as the woman was crossing the road.
She sustained serious injuries and was sent to North District Hospital where she died about 9am.
The driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death.
