Customs officers and Marine Police today foiled a smuggling case in Lau Fau Shan, seizing 40 boxes of frozen game meat worth $1.4 million.

Several men were seen loading boxes of goods onto a speedboat on the waterfront at Fui Yip Street early this morning.

They fled in the speedboat when officers took action, leaving the goods behind.
