A 44-year-old man died after he was reportedly thrown from a lorry in a three-vehicle collision on the Yuen Long Highway today.
The accident happened at about 5.30am, as a lorry traveling towards Sheung Shui reportedly struck the van in front of it near Shap Pat Heung Interchange before crashing into the central divider, throwing a passenger out of the lorry. A second lorry then crashed into the first one.
The man thrown from the lorry was sent to Pok Oi Hospital where he died at 6.08am. The van driver and two of his passengers were also injured and sent to hospital.
Witnesses should call investigators on 3661 3800.
