Police last night arrested a 21-year-old man in Tsuen Wan as a suspect in his 42-year-old stepmother's murder yesterday.
Police received a report of fighting in a unit at 89 Chuen Lung Street early yesterday morning and found the victim unconscious with multiple chop wounds. She died at the scene.
Her friend, another Nepalese woman, aged 42, was also found wounded.
Police believe the suspect attacked the women and fled.
