Fire officers are investigating a fatal fire in Kwun Tong Tsui Ping (North) Estate.
It broke out in a flat in Tsui To House about 9.30am yesterday.
About 50 people escaped the blaze, which was largely extinguished by firemen at about 9.45am.
A woman was found unconscious at the scene. She was sent to hospital and died last night.
No suspicious circumstances have been detected so far.
