Police today reclassified a Cheung Sha Wan attempted murder case as murder, after the victim, a 67-year-old woman, died.
She was found unconscious in a Mei Foo Sun Chuen flat on April 4 and sent to Princess Margaret Hospital.
Police arrested her son-in-law on the same day. He was charged with attempted murder and appeared in Kowloon City Magistracy yesterday.
The woman died at 3:30 this morning. An autopsy will determine the cause of death.
