Cocaine manufacturing centre closed

Customs officers yesterday closed a crack cocaine manufacturing centre in Tai Kok Tsui, arrested a 26-year-old man and seized drugs valued at about $5.2 million.
 
Drug Investigation Bureau officers raided the centre in a flat and seized about 2.8kg of cocaine, 1.6kg of crack cocaine and some drug-manufacturing apparatus. They later escorted the man to his residence nearby and seized another 300g of crack cocaine.
 
The man was arrested for drug manufacturing and trafficking. Investigations are ongoing.
