An double-taxation avoidance agreement between Hong Kong and the Czech Republic is now in force, the Financial Services & the Treasury Bureau said today.
The agreement will apply in Hong Kong for any year of income tax assessment beginning on or after April 1, 2013.
The pact was signed in June last year and came into force on January 24 this year after both sides completed ratification procedures.
