Secretary for Development Michael Wong says Liu Chun-san has been appointed as Under Secretary for Development because of his experience and expertise in civil engineering.
Speaking to the media today together with Mr Liu, Mr Wong said the new Under Secretary previously worked at the Civil Engineering & Development Department as the New Territories West Development Office Project Manager.
Regarding the reappointment of Political Assistant to the Secretary for Development Allen Fung, Mr Wong said Mr Fung has a good track record in liaising with Legislative Councillors, District Councillors and political parties from serving the previous administration.
Mr Wong added the Government plans to establish a task force on land supply this month so it can hold its first meeting in September.
