The Water Supplies Department launched its revamped website today.
The “Registered Consumers” area provides notes on plumbing works associated with home and unit renovations. There is also a link to an integrated platform for billing management and applications for e-Accounts and water supply.
The "Registered Agents" area includes notes on cleaning water tanks, details on the Quality Water Supply Scheme for Buildings and measures for tackling leakage in housing estates.
The "Plumbing Practitioners" area shares information on pipes and fittings approved by the department, fire services standards, and a practice guide compiled by the department and the Construction Industry Council.
The "General Public" area includes educational tips on water use. It also provides updates on follow-up work to address excess lead found in drinking water, as well as the department’s measures to enhance control on water pipe construction and installation.
The website has a responsive web design which can adjust size and content for browsing on mobile devices.
