Drinking water quality at Sheung Chui Court, Tsuen Wan, meets the World Health Organisation's standard for lead content.
The Housing Authority recently took a water sample for testing from a unit in the new Home Ownership Scheme estate, in response to a media report alleging excess lead was found in the unit’s drinking water.
The sample was taken the day after the authority flushed the unit's water pipes.
The sample's lead content was within the WHO limit, showing the unit's pipes had been thoroughly flushed.
