The Government will proceed with its original plan to resume the Second Reading debate of the Road Traffic (Amendment) Bill 2017 on June 28.

The debate will focus on increasing minibus passenger seats from 16 to 19.

The Transport & Housing Bureau said the decision to defer back to the original agenda follows the withdrawal of committee-stage amendments to the bill by Legislative Councillor Andrew Wan.
