The Buildings Department has refuted media reports it has ordered the owners of Amoycan Industrial Centre on Ngau Tau Kok Road to conduct emergency propping for the building.
In a statement today the department clarified that it has not issued an urgent notice to the owners nor mentioned there was a danger of collapse.
It said it issued statutory orders, including removal orders, repair orders and investigation orders, to the building owners on July 15.
Department officers have found no danger of collapse of the overall building structure.
