Secretary for Development Paul Chan visited Wan Chai District today.
He met Wan Chai District Council members to discuss local issues, and then visited Po Kok Primary School in Happy Valley in which 95% of students are non-ethnic Chinese.
He watched the students perform, chatted with them and was interviewed by the school's television station.
He then visited St James' Settlement Jockey Club Upcycling Centre which invites local designers to make use of recycled materials for new product designs and engages rehabilitated people in their production.
He also toured St James' Creation Workshop to learn about training and art creation activities for rehabilitated people.
