A new traffic lane on Tai Po Road (Sha Tin Section) near Scenery Court, constructed under the Road T3 project, opened to traffic today.
It marks the full opening of the carriageway connecting Tai Po Road to Tsing Sha Highway.
The Civil Engineering & Development Department said the new lane will alleviate traffic congestion during peak hours.
It is about 80 metres long with noise barriers.
