The Government announced the establishment of the Aviation Development & Three-runway System Advisory Committee today.
Chaired by the Secretary for Transport & Housing, it will replace the Aviation Development Advisory Committee, with extended membership and terms of reference.
It will comprise five ex-officio members and 20 non-official members, and will advise the Government on broad policy matters concerning Hong Kong's civil aviation and the development of Hong Kong International Airport, as well as issues concerning the implementation of the three-runway system.
The appointments are for two years from August 1.
