The Land Registry recorded 43,636 sale and purchase agreements for all building units in the first half of the year, down 7.7% on the second half of 2014 but up 27.6% year on year.
The total consideration for these agreements was $311.5 billion, down 7% on the second half of 2014 but up 46.6% year on year.
The number of assignments of building units was 53,238, up 0.5% on the second half of 2014 and up 36.3% year on year.
The total consideration for these assignments was $311.97 billion, up 7.6% on the second half of 2014 and 58.3% year on year.
There were 2,480,710 land-register searches, up 2.6% on the second half of 2014 and up 14.2% year on year.
