Passenger fuel surcharges will be reduced in May, the Civil Aviation Department announced today.

The maximum fuel surcharges will be $46 for short-haul flights and $205 for long-haul flights. The applicable surcharge levels are based on the ticket-issue date.

In April, the maximum surcharges were $48 for short-haul flights and $215 for long-haul flights.
