The Land Registry received 4,329 sale and purchase agreements for residential units in March, down 28.2% on February and up 37.8% year-on-year.
The total consideration for these agreements was $31.8 billion, down 22.1% compared to February, and up 54.9% year-on-year.
Including all other types of buildings, there were 6,211 agreements in March, 22.9% less than February, and 48.4% more than March last year.
The total consideration for all property sales in March was $57.2 billion, 20.2% up month-on-month and an increase of 94.6% year-on-year.
