22 building plans approved

The Buildings Department approved 22 building plans in October - 10 on Hong Kong Island, two in Kowloon and 10 in the New Territories.

 

Eleven were for apartment and apartment-commercial developments, six were for commercial developments, and five were for community-services developments.

 

Consent was given for work to start on 14 building projects that, when completed, will provide 218,431 square metres of gross floor area for domestic use, involving 2,718 units, and 31,764 sq m of gross floor area for non-domestic use.

 

The department also issued 16 occupation permits - three on Hong Kong Island, five in Kowloon and eight in the New Territories.

 

The buildings certified for occupation have 11,350 sq m of gross floor area for domestic use, involving 109 units, and 201,057 sq m for non-domestic use.


The declared cost of new buildings completed in the month totalled $4.1 billion.
