Two contractors were each fined $120,000 at Fanling Magistracy today for violating construction safety regulations.

The prosecutions were launched by the Labour Department.

The case involved a March 18 accident in Tin Shui Wai in which a scaffolder fell to his death from the 25th floor of a residential building while he was dismantling a bamboo scaffold on the external wall.
