The Office of the Communications Authority is inviting bids for 49.2MHz of paired radio spectrum in the 1.9 - 2.2GHz band (3G spectrum) for the provision of public telecommunications services in Hong Kong.
The auction will be held in December with a reserve price of $48 million per MHz.
The frequency bands will be assigned to the successful bidders under unified carrier licences with a validity period of 15 years each from October 22, 2016.
