The Lands Department registered 18 lease modifications and two land exchanges in the Land Registry during the first quarter of this year, of which 11 were technical changes involving nil premium.
Eleven of the transactions were on Hong Kong Island, seven in Kowloon, and two in the New Territories.
Another two lots granted by private treaty were registered during the quarter, involving a gas pigging station in Hung Hom and a government quarters development in Kwai Chung.
The transactions realised a total land premium of $1.72 billion.
