The Transport & Housing Bureau today reminded the public to send in their views by May 20 for the Our Future Railway Stage Two Public Engagement exercise.
Launched on February 21, the exercise features seven local enhancement schemes, including parallel lines, extensions, spur lines, and new stations.
Upon completion of the exercise, the Government's consultant will optimise planning for major regional railway corridors and local enhancement schemes based on views collected during both stages of the exercise.
The entire study is expected to be finished this year. The Government will consider the consultant's final recommendations in light of new developments. The bureau aims to report the results next year.
