Secretary for Home Affairs Lau Kong-wah today hailed cyclists Pang Yao and Yang Qianyu for winning Hong Kong's first gold medal at the 13th National Games.
They won the medal in the Women's Madison (Track Cycling) event.
Mr Lau said: "They have won their competition with the greatest strength and team spirit and made new achievements in sport for the glory of Hong Kong."
