The Centre for Health Protection is investigating a case of Legionnaires' disease involving a 76-year-old man.
The patient, a resident of Fu Shing House, Fung Shing Court, Sha Tin, has underlying illnesses.
Fifty cases of Legionnaires' disease have been reported so far this year.
There were 75 and 66 cases in 2016 and 2015.
