Secretary for Home Affairs Lau Kong-wah says the Government is planning to recruit young people to advisory bodies to allow them to express their opinions.
Mr Lau made the statement after attending a radio programme this morning.
He said the Government will identify some advisory bodies which appeal to young people and are suitable to have members selected through open recruitment.
It will then explore recruitment and screening procedures, and the terms of membership.
On the tendering exercise regarding the Kai Tak Sports Park project, Mr Lau said six tenders have been received.
"It is quite acceptable, we think that six tenders are okay. We hope we can get three of them to the final stage.
"We hope we can have construction start in the middle of next year."
