Secretary for Home Affairs Lau Kong-wah will visit Beijing from April 6 to 8.
He will be accompanied by Commissioner for Sports Yeung Tak-keung and members of the Hong Kong sports sector.
They will call on officials of the General Administration of Sport of China and visit sports facilities.
Mr Lau will also meet officials from the Office of Hong Kong, Macao & Taiwan Affairs of the Ministry of Culture.
