URBTIX ticket security enhanced

URBTIX tickets with enhanced security features will be rolled out tomorrow, the Leisure & Cultural Services Department announced today.

The URBTIX logo on the new ticket's top right corner will be made by hot stamp printing, making its forgery more difficult.

From tomorrow, tickets bought at URBTIX outlets will be the new version.

For those who purchase tickets through the Internet, mobile app or telephone, they will be issued the new tickets when they collect them at URBTIX outlets or by post or courier.

Issued tickets will remain valid and no exchange is required.

The Space Museum, the Film Archive and the Yau Ma Tei Theatre will continue issuing the old tickets until their stocks run out.
