Preservation piece:  Mok Yat-san's Contemplation of Lovingkindness reminds people to preserve nature.

The Museum of Art opened the "Bear in Mind" exhibition in Salisbury Garden, Tsim Sha Tsui, today.

Running until June 30, the exhibition features two outdoor art installations related to memories, created by local artists.

William Lim's Post a Memory to the Future comprises six covered bamboo pavilions and is inspired by a defunct post office near the former Kowloon Station in Tsim Sha Tsui.

Mok Yat-san's Contemplation of Lovingkindness is a set of five stainless steel sculptures combining elements of Chinese ink art and a contemporary landscape, signifying the inseparable relationship between the natural world and people in an urban environment.

There are also sound art activities allowing the public to hear stories about local culture and society.
