Secretary for Home Affairs Lau Kong-wah today presented commendations to 36 volunteer leaders and 20 youth volunteer leaders of youth uniformed groups.
The commendations recognise their contribution to promoting youth training and development.
They have served in uniformed groups for at least 10 years.

He said the Home Affairs Bureau has been working to encourage young people to acquire extra-curricular knowledge in uniformed groups and hopes youngsters can broaden their horizons and enhance their sense of responsibility by taking part in them.
