Mainland Olympic medallists held more sports demonstrations and met fans on the last day of their three-day Hong Kong trip today.
At Ma On Shan Sports Centre, the China Women's National Volleyball Team demonstrated the skills that won them gold at the Rio Olympics and had friendly matches with Hong Kong volleyball players.
Head coach Lang Ping encouraged the youngsters to draw inspiration from the Olympians' perseverance to surmount their personal challenges.
Badminton and table tennis medallists held a demonstration at the Hong Kong Sports Institute and played with local youths.
Speaking at the occasion, Secretary for Home Affairs Lau Kong-wah said the Olympians’ activities in Hong Kong have thrilled fans and inspired young athletes.
Demonstrations and exchanges were also held at Tai Po Sports Centre and in several schools.
The delegation departed for Macau this afternoon.
