Tickets for the sports demonstration and variety show by the gold medallists from China’s Olympic team will go on sale August 22.
The medallists will arrive in Hong Kong on August 27 for a three-day courtesy visit.
They will meet the public on August 28, with three groups of athletes giving table tennis and badminton demonstrations at Queen Elizabeth Stadium from 9.30am to 11.30am, and a diving demonstration at Victoria Park Swimming Pool from 10am to 11.30am.
The “A Date with Mainland Olympic Gold Medallists” variety show will be held from 4.30pm to 6pm at Queen Elizabeth Stadium.
Tickets will be available from City Hall, the Cultural Centre, Sha Tin Town Hall and Tuen Mun Town Hall from August 22.
Tickets are $20 with free seating. Each person can buy a maximum of two tickets per transaction collectively for the three events.
